Summer Drugstore Makeup Look

Summer isn’t over yet! Check out my first YouTube video showing you how I get my go to Summer Look using Drugstore Makeup (click the pic above to view).

All the products are linked below so click the pic to go shopping! (TIP: Most can be found at Ulta, Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid who always have BOGO sales!)

Loreal Magic Lumi Primer – $12.99: This primer gives your skin a natural glow without looking glittery. It also helps smooth your face for easier makeup application.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Normal/Dry Skin – Sand Beige – $12.99: They also have another formula available for combo/oily skin. This foundation is hydrating but doesn’t create a dewy finish. It has never broken up on me or looked cakey. Contains SPF 15, perfect for Summer.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer – Light – $8.99: This was the first time using this concealer and I was pretty impressed.  I do not struggle with dark circles but I use concealers to help brighten my under eyes. I bought this is the shade light and it was perfect. They also have a “brightening” shade but it was not available in stores when I purchased this. This is a lightweight formula and did not crease under my eyes throughout the day.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder – $38.00: Ok, like I mentioned, this is not a drugstore product. I could not justify spending more money on powder before I finished using this product. I bought this product due it receiving high praise from many people. I feel like this can look cakey on me, but I do have dry skin. I use this to bake my concealer under my eyes. Click the links below to see other options that are more affordable:

NYX HD Finishing Powder – $9.99:

RCMA No Color Powder – $12.00:

Maybelline Master Fix Setting & Perfecting Loose Powder – $8.99:

Morphe Brushes 35O Palette – $23.00: Don’t forget there are a bunch of affiliate promo codes for Morphe. My favorite YouTuber Jaclyn Hill’s code will save you money, just use “JACATTACK” at checkout. You get a lot of good quality eyeshadows for very little so I would definitely recommend this palette, especially if you love warm colors. They have a bunch of different colored palettes available as well.

L’Oreal Paris Infalliable 24HR Eye Shadow – Amber Rush – $6.99: This color is stunning. It is easy to blend out, doesn’t dry out and never creases!

L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara – Blackest Black – $9.99: This is the best drugstore mascara I have ever used. I have never used the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, but supposedly this is the dupe. This mascara is good with one coat, but 2 coats seems to transform your lashes.

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer – $14.99: This bronzer is perfect for summer and smells like tropical paradise!

Maybelline Fit Me Blush – Peach – $5.99: This is the first time I’ve used this blush and I don’t know what took me that long to try it. It blends out super easy and the color is beautiful. And did I mention it’s cheap?!

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter – $24.00: I hate chunky, glittery highlights and this is not one of them! You can make it suttle or blinding, depending on your mood.

L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer – Brunette – $8.99: This is the first time I tried this product and I’m sold. It glides on so easy and (in my opinion) is better than the Anastasia Brow Wiz.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel – $22.00: I am trying to use this up so I didn’t buy a drugstore brow gel. This brow gel is good, but I don’t think it is a holy grail. It doesn’t flake but it does not have a strong hold. Other more affordable options linked below:

NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel – $5.99:

Milani Brow Shaping Clear Gel – $3.97:

Sonia Kashuk Brow Gel – $5.99:

Ulta Matte Lipstick – Rosette – $8.50: LOVE this lipstick. This is a creamy matte formula that glides on your lips smoothly, doesn’t cling to dry patches and has good wearing power. Color is described as a medium rosy pink.

(PS: Thank you for reading my blogs and watching my YouTube video. Let me tell ya, talking to yourself on video can be pretty awkward. I know have some work to do, but practice makes perfect.)
